This small museum is amazing! It features exquisite stone inlay art work from the artisans of the Medici's. Tables and other decorative pieces are on display and the level of intricacy and detail is very impressive. Some of the pieces are not very well lit, but generally well worth a visit.

Florence is full of many attractions and museums. The small museum is unique and features impressive craftsmanship. When I visited there was only one or two other people and so it made for a very peaceful an interesting visit. Worth a stop if you have the time and are in the area.

The museum itself is not very big but we spent a lot of time in there as all the items were very interesting. It was also not as crowded as all the other more popular museums. One of my favourite museum visits in Florence.

Very impressive marble and stone inlay you would swear was painted, so detailed and full of color and texture. Flowers, fruits, people, architecture, all executed in tiny pieces that are perfectly joined. You will be impressed. Second floor easy to miss--has work tables and samples of stone.

The art here is superb, as is most in Florence. However, this was unique in the type of art it was. It’s one of those places that doesn’t make your list before you go, but once there, you couldn’t imagine nit being there.
