We loved this hotel. The room was lovely, the location great, and they gave us breakfast for free! It was really nice, and definitely worth the money if you were paying for it. Beautiful pastries and a great selection of other things too. The only thing that wasn't positive was that we could clearly hear the people in the room next door, but it wasn't too much of an issue. Great value for money. I'd definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone else going to Florence.
First impressions: Hidden along Via Faenza you could miss the entrance with a small red lit sign.
On arrival: Old style building deco with exposed beams. Low volume hotel feels more like a B&B.
Staff: Very friendly and helpful
Rooms: Moderate size,clean with very comfortable beds.
Breakfast:Continental with scrambled eggs if you ask was filling and quaint breakfast area pleasing.
Price: Good value
Proximity to transport: only a stones throw from main train station which is great if you arrive this way and also where most tours pick up from.
Short walk to major sights and eateries.
Overall good value comfortable address.
Down a back street but easy walk from the station, comfortable and clean with all necessary amenities. Breakfast was good. Staff very helpful with recommendations and looked after our luggage for the whole day after we checked out. Good value.
Our stay was wonderful, the staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were cozy and the breakfast was plentiful for the 5 euro charge. The hotel is also very close to the train and bus station and a short walk to the beautiful sites of Forence.
We loved it! Best hotel we had on our trip in Italy (26 days, 6 hotels)! We stayed there 6 nights and had great service. Very clean, great breakfast and the lady who is there in the morning is really nice and makes us feel welcomed. Ideally located: 5 minute walk to train, bus and the duomo! We recommend!
