We stayed here for 3 nights at the end of March. We had 2 rooms both were spacious and clean. The breakfast offered a wide variety of items that were very good. The hotel was in a great location with only a 15 min walk to the train station and about the same to the Duomo. We probably could have gotten closer, but the prices were much more expensive -

Room Tip: The rooms on the interior of the courtyard had better wifi then the ones at the back

Stayed here as a tour group. The room was a suite, very roomy. Some of us had two bedroom suites that were very nice. I didn't, but the single room was very nice. Our room was cool and they brought up a heater for us right away. The breakfast had a large selection to choose from. Would recommend this hotel. We were walking distance from several restaurants including a vegan restaurant just a block away.

It was a pleasure to check into this hotel with no delays and find our room to be clean, spacious and warm. The breakfasts were great with a variety of everything one could possibly want to find nourishment to start the day.The atmosphere is very pleasing and location excellent to restaurants and attractions.

We stayed in the residence part of the hotel. We had an apartment with 2 bedrooms, kitchen and living room and one large bathroom. The hotel location was a straight 10 minute walk to the main attractions of Florence. The Academia where David is located is about 5 minutes away. You can obtain tickets there too. The breakfast buffet was excellent. There is an outdoor courtyard where you can enjoy drinks and food in a nice atmosphere. We were here for 3 nights.

Room Tip: Stay in the residence hotel rather than the main hotel as you have more space and a better price.

We arrived at the Palazzo tired and dirty after our train trip from Milan. The reception staff made us very welcome and our rooms were large, spotlessly clean and quiet. The courtyard aspect is charming. We enjoyed drinks and pre-dinner snacks at the bar each night and loved the extensive range of breakfast choices. The 10-minute walk into Florence's main square was really interesting, with a range of small, boutique-type shops for us to browse through. There is also an excellent wine shop located opposite the Palazzo which has a really wide range of European wines. We recommend the Palazzo for any type of group. We stayed there during Men's Fashion Week and our breakfasts were enlivened by the presence of an eclectic range of designers, models and buyers.

This lovely palazzo was quite an experience and I'm glad we made reservations here. Our room was in the old building, which others have recommended was the way to go. We had to push to get a confirmed booking for the old building, but it was worth it. Amazing! Our "room" was really a series of rooms -- you entered into a small kitchen and then into spacious living/sitting room on the first floor. A concrete spiral staircase lead up to our loft-like bedroom and bath. I believe we laughed for a full 5 minutes as the space was so large and unexpected. We simply couldn't believe it! Huge shuttered windows let in a lovely light, even in winter. Furnished with a combo of elegant old world pieces and some inexpensive modern ones (think Ikea)... the decor lacked consistency, but overall, it was comfortable. The bathroom was dated but functional. There was a large closet in bedroom. TV both downstairs and upstairs. A challenge to get your luggage upstairs and back down again, but the porters were quite helpful in this regard. The residence has a bar. The breakfast was fine. A worthwhile place to stay whilst in Florence.

Room Tip: As others have said, get a room in the older building. We didn't have one, but you might ask fo...
