“Beautiful Hotel in the great location”
Reviewed June 29, 2010

Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. The location is great for exploring all the major attractions. The hotel cozy, yet luxurious. Our room was spacious and well equipped.

Yeah, it's pretty expensive, but the location can't be beat, breakfast is amazing and very luxurious, free wireless, good staff.

Good prices, excellent room (are they all as good as ours?), quality breakfast, lovely old building, perfect location and well run. No gripes at all.

The Bernini hotel is a very beautiful hotel. Make sure you don’t mistake it for a similarly named hotel near the Florence train station like we did! The staffs here are very helpful. The ambience and design of the hotel is a great mix of trendy and retro. Have read this comment before here and have to second that although the hotel is beautiful the rooms lacked something more importantly space. The hotel is definitely well placed in the centre of the city. All the important sites were very close by.

This Hotel was the second stop on my Honeymoon. My first was Luna Baglioni, Venice (see my review) and I chose this Hotel because it belongs to the same chain and seemed nice with a nice location.

I arrived at night to find that they Upgraded my standard room to a Junior Sweet that was beautiful and gave us dinner invetations to three different restaurants for each night we stayed in Florence.

Room was sptless. Very clean and decorative (I will add pictures soon). Bathroom has everything you may find in a 5 star hotel. Robes, house slippers and everything.

Location is the best you can get. It is in the old district. Very close to all the attractions, car rentals and good restaurants. The train station is also within a walking distance.

I recommend this Hotel.

My husband and I came here from Venice where we stayed the the baglioni sister hotel luna baglioni and had an amazing stay. Entering the hotel we were very excited-very modern, hip looking lobby. After passing through a second corrider the carpeting begant o look slightly shabbier. We were shown to our room which was considerably smaller than we had expected. The staff was very nice and accomodating at the bar and when we called for rooms ervice. At times when we asked questions at the front desk we felt at times theyt ook the defensive. For example we were told we had 15 minutes of free internet. In the morning I asked a different girl if I could have the password so I could look up a number. Her initial reaction was that I was lying and that it was impossible that I would have free internet. Afterexplaining that the woman who checked us in told us the details she finally went into the computer to pull up our name and see that in fact 15 minutes of free internet came with our reservation.

The hotel is in a fabulous location and the bathroomw as very spacious.

Perfect location! Very centrally located and within easy walking distance to everything. Located on a very quiet street corner with some great small restaurants right nearby. The hotel itself was clean and beautifully decorated. Our room offered no view, but we really weren't in our room all that much for it to matter. Beautiful and ornate large room with very large bath! We could not have been more pleased!
