We stayed here for five nights. The stay couldn't have been better. The location is perfect, in the scenic centre of Florence and just a walk of a few minutes from the major sites. The hotel is beautiful, an ancient palace imaginatively restored. The rooms are wonderfully well decorated, in deep colours with traditional furnishings. The service is impeccable, warm, friendly and unobtrusively efficient. There are all the usual facilities that you would expect from a luxury five star hotel, but to this is added a touch of Italian flair and more than a touch of Tuscan good taste. This must be the best hotel in Florence and one of the best in Italy.

The best thing about this hotel is the location. It is near everywhere and you can walk to any destination. The breakfast is ok but limited choices for gluten free diets. Staff is friendly. The linen bedding is spectacular and i would like to buy some for our home.

I stayed here for 3 days in July with my daughter. The location simply couldn't be better, and yet the hotel is quiet once you step in from the street. Staff was pleasant and the lobby was very nice. Our room was beautiful and spacious, as was our bathroom. The bedding was linen, which was very nice and they had a complimentary turndown service, which I found a pleasant surprise. I really enjoyed staying here, it was so centrally located, just steps from everything, and had a old school charm. The breakfast room and meal itself were wonderful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and look forward to returning some day!

All I have to say is wow! Fantastic location within walking distance of all the major sites. More spacious than I would expect for the heart of the city. We had a lovely breakfast provided each morning and the staff could not have been more friendly. I hated to leave!

This hotel is in a great location and is very clean and nice. Beautiful lobby and spacious rooms. However, the concierge sincerely ruined my experience at this hotel. I am not one that usually will allow staff services to lower my rating of a hotel, but they really had rude concierge. On multiple times, the staff tried to push different tours and services, when I was simply asking for ALL of my different options to travel. She also advised me that it would not be possible to walk to the Piazzale Michelangelo, even though I told her I WANT TO WALK. She literally advised me it is not possible, even though we did it and it was only about 20 minutes away. She also failed to get us reservations at a restaurant we had requested, clearly because they hadn't been adamant about doing it.

ALSO, the sheets in the bed were like sandpaper. Another huge problem for us.

We arrived exhausted and were immediately greeting by the front desk with smiles and keys to our room. The room was fabulous! Roomy, fresh, clean and ready for us to relax in. The bathroom was impeccable and very roomy for all of us to share. There was an abundance of shampoo, conditioner, soaps, etc. The rooms featured beautiful Murano crystal chandeliers, lovely period furniture as well as a t.v. in both the bedroom and adjoining conversation room. The refrigerator was just the perfect size and was filled with just the right combination of goodies.
Better than the room, was the excellent service that we received from the moment we walked in to the moment we checked out. Exceptional service was provided each morning by Marusca, Bartola and Simona during breakfast. They remembered our favorites, greeted us with a friendly smile and made sure that we were completely taken care of. The staff also offered tips on the must do activities when we asked. In the short time that we were here they became our friends. Camilla also worked hard to make sure that our room was clean and beautiful each day. She provided us excellent service and asked us each time she saw us if she could do anything to make our stay more pleasurable. Each evening we received a friendly knock on the door and our beds were turned down, with a little goodie left behind for us.
Our only disappointment was that our stay ended. Surely the Bernini Palace Hotel had a great deal to do with our fantastic trip to Florence. We can't wait to come again.

Room Tip: Our room was very quiet as we had a none view junior suite. There was not a sound to be heard from...

We loved our stay at this hotel. The foyer is quiet and peaceful with classical music. There is a small bar in the foyer - great area for relaxing with a drink at the end of the day. Our room had been upgraded for us to the executive floor and was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and was served in a beautiful room, providing a lovely start to the day. I would definitely stay here again.
