Stefano's pizza is veeeeery tasty!! Enjoyed it two times. Not really big variety but all flavors are interesting and not traditional for non-italians. Really like it!! Coming to Florence next month.. Can't wait to taste this pizza again! !

We had a hard time finding this place, based on the Trip Advisor app, but we're glad we sought it out, as the sandwiches were great. This small take-out shop is a great place to grab a sandwich or quick bit to eat. We liked our sandwiches so much, we got right back in line and ordered another! The second time around, the line had grown long, but the service was fast and we got our order in no time.

Since we had a hard time finding this place, I thought I'd provide some more detailed instructions for those who want to visit. The shop is extremely close to the Ponte Vecchio bridge, but the location on the Trip Advisor City Guides app was misleading, so we got off course. If you are coming from the North side of Florence (the side with the Duomo, Uffizi, and Academia), cross the Ponte Vecchio bridge, then take your first left once you cross the bridge. Amici Di' Ponte vecchio Da Stefano will be on the right side of the street. If you get to the fork in the road, you've gone to far.

Definitely the best focaccia sandwich I had in Florence. The focaccia was very fresh and they will make you any combination you like. They prepare all the sandwiches fresh, on the spot. Not like other panini bars, where sandwiches are made once a day. Service is attentive and friendly and prices are cheap. Great place!!!!!

We grabbed two sandwiches on the way out of town, and we did not find it out of the way at all. We didn't go with anything fancy, but I recommend the salami with arugula (rocket). It was just fatty enough to be savory but nothing too rich to be inedible. We also sampled the porchetta, which was delicious but perhaps too greasy for us -- we're grease wusses. We can eat pretty much anything else, but our health-o-meter goes off if something is gratuitously fatty. That said, the smoke in the porchetta was reminiscent of Texas barbecue, and that's a gigantic compliment coming from two native Texans. Definitely pop into this place before diving into a pricey plate of touristy pasta nearby; you won't overeat, and you'll have a taste of what real Florentians eat when they're on the go.

A hard-to-find storefront, and only 5 seats, but definitely worth it! Both the pizza and sandwiches were excellent, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The prices were extremely reasonable also. Just a block east of the ponte de Vecchio..
