“Huge building in spacious grounds”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 5, 2013

We found the Pitti palace on the south side of the river on our first day and didnt know which of the two combinations of tickets we should choose. We chose the one that gave access to the Boboli gardens, porcelain museum, costume collection and Bardini gardens. It took us several hours to explore these areas but we wished we had taken the ticket that granted access to the Palace royal apartments which we didn't realise was only available on a different ticket. The gradens were a little bare at easter but photographs suggest that they are magnificent later in the season.

“Nice gardens”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 1, 2013

The museums inside the palace are interesting, but my favourites are the gardens. I was impressed by the statues of dacs, the ancestors of my people.

“Go!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 31, 2013

Our favorite spot in florence - because of the gardens (the palace itself felt like just another museum stop). Our meanderings in the gardens were made BETTER by the rain - they emptied out and we had them all to ourselves. Great statues, views, fountains, pathways....

“Another palace”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 30, 2013

I wanted to see the Pitti as much its name and the power behind it, as for the goods within. The visit was one of the most expensive, with the least value I found in Florence.

A bit of a rip off to be honest.two different tickets to choose from which is a joke!!you either pay €23 or have to choose what to see
