Beautiful hotel, rooms are ultra clean, fantastic breakfast serving nice coffee, great scrambled eggs cooked the way they should be - soft & runny. The staff are all very professional and really make you feel welcome. Thanks for making our stay in Florence so memorable. We hope to come back in the future for a longer stay. Love Florence, what an amazing City.

A beautifully presented, stylish boutique hotel in an ideal location. Like many converted buildings in Europe, the 'lower end' rooms can feel a little small with minimal storage for clothes but are well appointed and spotless.

The hotel staff are efficient and friendly (special mention for Antonella and Davide) and the meal we had in the Osteria della Pagliazzi restaurant was tasty and good value. A very good, varied buffet breakfast is served until 10.30.

100m from the Duomo and a short stroll from the Ponte Vecchio the hotel is the ideal base to explore the city.

The trip marked our 30th anniversary and the hotel generously left a chilled bottle of bubbly in our room.

Thank you to everyone who helped make our stay special and memorable.

Lets start out saying we did not take a cab from the train station and it took us an hour to find this hotel by walking (dumb thing to do!). Things got way better from here. Our travel Agent, Kathi Sheridan booked this hotel rather than many other choices. While I am sure the others were great also, the hotel Brunelleschi had really 5 star service from all of the staff. Its location is in the center of town about two blocks from the Duomo. It is located of a small side street but many of the rooms face on to the major walking streets on the way to the Arno. The hotel is a combination of old buildings and they even have ancient Roman ruins in the cellar (they will give you a tour). The room we had was an upgraded deluxe (large by most standards) with excellent furnishing, and a super bathroom. We had two large windows facing the street so there was some street noise as no one sleeps in Florence. Breakfast was included in our rate and it was good with a good mix of hot and cold food. We also ate at the hotel outside restaurant and had a well prepared meal that was one of our best on our trip. This hotel was moderately priced compared to the other 4 star hotels in Florence and was well worth the stay.

Room Tip: Ask for at least a deluxe as the standard superior rooms looked small.

We found the Brunelleschi to be a very nice hotel located walking distance from the train station. The room was of modern decor. Spacious for a European Hotel in a city. The bathroom was also a nice size. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a tipical European buffet.

Absolutely wonderful hotel! All the staff couldn't do more for us whilst we were there on our honeymoon. To help us celebrate they served delicious drinks in the bar, booked us in their restaurant on our first night for a fantastic 4-course meal and we also had a bottle of champagne chilling in our room when we arrived - all complimentary on them. All of the staff were very friendly and extremely helpful, including booking us on tours, organising bookings for high quality restaurants which they reccommended and much more. Rooms and service is of a high standard and the location of the hotel is more than ideal! We will definitely return again next year for our first anniversary!

We had 3 nights here recently. The rooms are very nicely furnished if a little small and there was an annoying lack of drawer space for clothes. The in room entertainment system was also average.
However the location is excellent, a block or so from the duomo and the Ponte Vecchio a short and interesting walk away. We didn't have dinner in the hotel but stopped for drinks before an after dinner in the courtyard outside the hotel which was quiet and atmospheric in the shadow off the Byzantine tower that forms part of the hotel. The breakfast buffet was very nice.
All staff were very helpful accommodating - the service was excellent in all facets of our stay.

This place is home away from home, that is exactly how the staff, Rafaelle and Sergio make you feel. The location of the hotel is fantastic, the rooms are big , modern, clean with big bathrooms. The staff were so great that we got an upgrade and were pleasantly surprised and extremely thankful. More importantly, is the kindness , the helpfulness and the overall manners expressed by the staff unlike anywhere else in Italy. I usually do not listen to the recommendations made by the concierge because they send you to restaurants that they have a deal with. However, in this case, I trusted and listened to Sergio's recommendations and was extremely happy with the quality of the restaurants he recommended. He alo went out of his way to correct the situation with our reservation at the academy and got us a refund due to the long wait. Rafaelle was another individual who was exceptional. He upgraded our room, escorted us to the room himself and gave us a tour of our suite and explained all the amenities. He was extremely helpful, kind and informative. This hotel was the best experience we had in Italy both in terms of the staff and the accommodations. Grazie Mille Rafaelle and Sergio.

Room Tip: Express your expectations to the staff and be friendly so that they return the courtesy to you. I us...
