“HISTORIC LUXURY”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 8, 2012

Imagine sleeping in a medieval church attached to a Byzantine tower - in a quiet cul-de-sac in Florence - all this in fabulous luxury in the heart of Florence!

My wife and I stayed here for three nights. The staff were very helpful and very friendly. The location is outstanding as it is not on any of the main tourista streets. The room was relatively large (by European standards) and well-appointed.

They even surprised me on my birthday with a cake delivered to the room!

The only drawback for us was that our room faced Via del Calzaioli, which was quite loud even after 1AM and then again with street-cleaners by 5AM.

The hotel is located in the center of Florence. Everything you want to see in Florence you can reach on foot. The rooms are modern with a flat screen TV and the bathroom is fully equiped. Breakfast is very nice, you can even order a cappucino.
We also had dinner in the restaurant, good service and good food.
The staff at the reception was always friendly and helpful.
I would return to this hotel.

We stayed at the hotel for four nights
Hotel blends the old with the ultramodern
The service was excellent and breakfast superb
Very close to the Duomo and therefore very central
In spite of location very quiet at night and no disturbed sleep,
I found it very good value for money.

Yours sincerely

Dr. Marcel Ladenheim

We stayed in a Junior Suite in March12 and could not fault the hotel. Breakfast had lots of variety and was fresh, breakfast area was pleasant. Staff were very courteous and helpful. Just a tip - there is no iron in the room and none available at the hotel.
The bar was lovely - small but very nice decor etc (if a little pricey but most hotels would be similar). Room was very nicely decorated with large TV, lovely bathroom with jacuzzi bath and nice tioletries. We ate in the restarurant and food was excellent - portion sizes quite large but me but it was delicious ;)
Location was fantastice - walk round the corner and there is the Duomo so was great loaction from which to explore on-foot. Overall a wonderful experience in a wonderful city and I would definately stay here again.

Room Tip: Junior Suite is lovely - if a little warm - we slept with windows open onto a small courtyard (3rd f...

Thr Brunelleschi is a lovely central hotel tucked away in a quiet little square. The rooms are beautifully decorated but are small. The breakfast is excellent and the staff are pleasant and helpful. A great location for sightseeing. Check out the Sardinian Restaurant just round the corner, its excellent.

Room Tip: Check out the room size before you book
