Just returned from 10 days in Florence (Firenze) staying at the above hotel. Could not fault any aspect whatsoever - Staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was plentiful, room cleaned and linen changed every day.
Tour was arranged through the hotel, visit to Pisa, coach picked us up outside, all very easy.
Fantastic restaurant opposite named MASO, we ate there nearly every evening. Plenty of choice and reasonably priced.
Hotel is right in centre, only a few minutes from Shops, Duomo or Ponte Vecchio.
All in all - FANTASTICO

i didn't mark 5 just because it takes about 15/20 minutes to get to piazza della signoria. the hotel is near to the central station: it means that you can walk with your luggage, and this is good, but it also means, like all the place near to a railway station, that the district is not so nice. this is the only thingh i can complain. the hotel is very nice!

Thanks a lot for your review which is really important for us and thanks also for the nice words you spent about us. The only thing I don't agree with you is the distance from Piazza della Signoria which is really 10-15 minutes walking from our hotel. Best regards. Daniele Benelli Assistant Manager

5 minutes walking from the train station. Staff were very helpful, friendly, and all spoke English. Our room was nice, quiet, and comfortable. Breakfast buffet had bacon and eggs (which are not typical in most Italian hotels) and all kinds of fruit, pastries, meats, cheese's, juices and Italian coffee.

We are used to traveling in Italy and have become huge fans of Best Westerns. This one was one better than most of the other Best Westerns we've stayed at while traveling in Italy.

This hotel is great value. Very clean. Friendly staff. Rooms are beautiful and very generous/spacious. Comfortable beds!!! Well maintained, with large bathroom that has good ventilation. Breakfast was included ( extensive selection including fresh pastries, fruit, yoghurt, sausages, eggs etc.) we were close to all the tourist sights and only a 5 minute walk from the train station. Only downfall.....Internet not free and was rather expensive.
Otherwise we would definitely stay here again.

My husband & I booked BW Grand Adriatico for a short stay in Florence based on its location to the train station. We arrived in Florence very, very late because we had missed our train from Venice. After arriving at the hotel very tired and distraught, we were welcomed by a very kind, understanding and accomodating staff. Thank you!!

The room was nicely decorated, roomy and very comfortable. It was easy for us to catch up on our rest before exploring Florence. The bathroom was also roomy, clean and comfortable. We were so pleased with the hotel that we booked an additional night to give us more time in Florence.

The location was fine - walking distance from train station. The breakfast was decent with many options. Our only complaint is that the Internet in the lobby was so slow it was almost impossible to use. Other than that, we really loved this hotel.

We have visited Florence a few times, but never stayed at the Grand Hotel Adriatico before. However, it is now on our list of prime locations to stay while visiting this beautiful city.

This time, we had were accompanied by a friend, so we stayed in a junior suite. The room was beautiful, well equipped and tastefully decorated. Our service at check-in was very smooth and the clerk very helpful.

We had a vehicle and could park it in the small carpark behind the hotel. (The website says there is a charge for this.) There are only a few spaces, so first come, first served. If there is no room here, a parking garage is very close, just around the corner. If you want to be really close to all the attractions, this is the place to be.

It is an easy walk to the Ponte Vecchio, Uffize Gallery and other sites. Internet available but expensive. This hotel can represent very good value in off-peak times.
