We had such a great time and learned so much on this tour. Nat was wonderful and so accommodating. She took us to places we would have never found on our own. Don't eat a big breakfast before this tour. We are suggesting this tour to all our friends.

“Florence for foodies fun fun fun”
Reviewed December 12, 2013

We had a great time learning the local eating spots and food tasting around the market. Very relaxed and informative, and we brought home some amazing truffle honey and pistachio spread from one of the spots. At the wine stop, but the grappa was the real star.
We ended with super yummy gelato.
I would certainly recommend it!
It was a blast with adults, but I can't imagine kids having a good time.

“A must for foodies!”
Reviewed December 10, 2013

This tour was a wonderful way to spend four hours! Sam was an ideal host, warm and friendly, and so knowledgeable about the cuisine of the region. The stalls/shops and their owners were great to visit; very interesting people, dedicated to producing/selling such good food and wine!

“What a delight! Trip enrichment in short order!”
Reviewed December 6, 2013

We booked this tour on the second leg of our honeymoon through Italy and WOW! What a treat it was!

Sam met and guided us through five unique and delightful stops, imparting lots of wisdom on Tuscan cuisine and culture in a very relaxed and casual setting. We met some very nice and interesting characters along the way, and we had a lot of laughs. We were totally stuffed (and a bit tipsy) by the time we parted ways. We brought home some amazing products that we wouldn't have thought to purchase otherwise, and her list of recommended restaurants were a God-send during our stay. We never had a mediocre meal!

Don't hesitate to book this tour as it will help you settle right in to this amazing town and it's delicious culinary offerings.

“Excellent activity for foodies!”
Reviewed December 6, 2013

We decided to try out this food tour based on the reviews posted on Tripadvisor and was not disappointed with the tour. We learnt alot about the local cuisine and tried things we would have not eaten before such as the Veal Panini (highly recommended in the market).

It will definitely open your mind and the food on each plate given to us was all very good.

Mama Sam was a great tour guide and provided very informative insights - would highly recommend this for all your foodies
