This hotel is beautiful and it was managed so very well. It is located in an area where you are within walking distance of so much of what the city has to offer. The San Lorenzo Market is very close as well as the Dome and the Cathedral. The room was magnificent, decorated beyond belief and very large especially compared to most European hotel rooms. It was so elegant and glamorous but so inviting and comfortable. The staff was excellent and so was the included breakfast. I will most definitely return. It was also priced very affordable for what you get. It was slightly higher than some of the other places I stayed but well worth the extra for the amazing stay.

My husband and I stayed in Art Atelier for a week. We were very happy with this choice. Location is great, the rooms and bathrooms were not small by European standards and very tastefully decorated. Plus it was clean and everything was functioning properly. The staff was wonderful, we felt very welcomed. Many thanks to Gabrielle, Federica and Armando. We will recommend this hoptel to our friends.

Very well located, this hotel makes extra effort. The style of the hotel reminded me of many of the landmarks we all go to Florence to see -- white walls with grey stone arches over the doors, marble everywhere, and my spacious solo room was even painted with a lovely mural. The breakfast buffet had plenty of choices and even some handy snacks you could take with you for during the day emergency touring refreshment (individually wrapped hunks of parmesan cheese, for example.) The thing that impressed me most was that when I let the staff know (as I was checking out,) that I had been having lots of trouble during my stay connecting to wireless, they discounted my room (I didn't even ask them to!) That's the kind of care about guests that makes me recommend the place and return to it.

Room Tip: Get room in front if wireless access is important

Welcoming and tasteful design. Staff was very helpful and made you feel at home, especially front desk manager whose name is Naiq. Room was very clean, good space, hardwood floor and clean modern bathroom. The hotel I found out was completed in December which gave it a new feeling which made the 2 night stay very comfortable. It is also a 5 minute walk to the train station. Location is also very suitable to the sights which are walkable. Free wifi cafe next to the hotel which is also convenient.

Room Tip: Rates can be in the 150-200euro range.

We had a long weekend in Florence for our anniversary - and got confused by all the hotels available. Finally chose Art Artelier. It was brilliant - close to the station but far enough away to be quiet and only a few minutes walk from the Duomo.
It was clean, well decorated and nice breakfast with tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Staff were pleasant and helpful.
We fully recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Florence.

We have been in Florence for one night (Jamiroquai concert) and we have found this hotel perchance. In fact it was a great deal, because the hotel itself is new and beautiful, the rooms are big and decorated in a very very nice way. Also very clean. The position is optimal - just some minutes walk from the train station and all main attractions. Breakfast was good and there were lots of things. The staff is helpfull and always with a smile. We give you the best vote!

Very nice room with a private terrace, no view but nice to have own outdoor space. Location was excellent, only a few minutes to the station and the Duomo (there are many hotels in such a location). Very recently modernised and tastefully decorated. Staff friendly and helpful, breakfast adequate and pleasant. English news channels, tea and coffee making in room and nice lounge areas. Very quiet as in a narrow side street. Fantastic views from the top of the Duomo - 463 narrow steps but well worth it!

There was hair in the shower drain when we first arrived, this is really inexcusable but the cleaning after this was fine. I would have preferred to have a bath after hard days sightseeing in Florence. It was not the cheapest and there may have been better offers available but overall we enjoyed the hotel and the trip to Florence immensely
