“a lot of statues”
Reviewed June 13, 2013

We walked through here several times over the duration of our visit. It was cool to see, but it wasn't really an item on our agenda. We didn't stop to really study the statues, except maybe once. It's neat to see, but it won't take you long to get through, unless you really enjoy studying the details of statues.

“Historic location”
Reviewed June 11, 2013

Standing there I often imagine it's the time of the Medicis and Leonardo and Michaelangelo are going to walk by. And I love to visit the spot where Savonarola was burned at the stake. It's the Bonfire of the Vanities come to life.

“THIS CALLS YOU!”

I would highly recommend this Piazza. Has a lot of sculpture from B.C. The Gallaria Uffizi is located just steps away. Lots of food shop and street vendors.

“Great Tourist place bustling with people”
Reviewed June 10, 2013

This square was bustling with people everytime we visited. It's probably the second most busiest tourist spot in Florence after the square which house the Duomo. Like the Duomo square there is plenty to see with statues of Neptune, David and many other statues. It also houses another of the former houses of the Medici family which is now used as the mayors residence. It's not the sort of square you'd go to for peace and quiet because there is not many places to sit down and the place is always full of people, however the view is amazing and we always found ourselves passing through this square to get to other places like our hotel.
