Perfect location overlooking the Arno River. Steps to the Uffizi Gallery, the Palazzo Vecchio and the Piazza della Signoria; an easy 10 minute walk to the Duomo and a few more to the Accademia Gallery (home of Michelangelo's David). Shops and restaurants close by. We enjoyed two great dinners within walking distance: Coquinarius near the Duomo and Trattoria Antico Fattore just a couple of minutes from the hotel.

Our room, on the 1st floor, had an amazing view of the Ponte Vecchio. It was nicely decorated with a fully equipped bathroom (bathroom is tight, but fine for one person at a time). To be able to sit on your bed and see the Ponte Vecchio is well worth a smaller bathroom in my opinion! We closed our windows to sleep and had no issues with noise.

Beautiful rooftop terrace with views of both the Arno and the Palazzo Vecchio--perfect for picture taking day or night. Lovely sitting room/lounge on the 5th floor for drinks or relaxing as well.

Breakfast offered a nice variety and the service was excellent. Sunny and well appointed breakfast room with, again, beautiful views.

Check-in was easy and our bags were delivered to our room. We also had an easy check-out and the staff arranged a taxi to take us to the airport without hesitation.

Would love to return on our next trip to Florence.

Great location just off North end of the Ponte Vecchio. Minutes from Uffizi Gallery and other attractions. Excellent rooftop garden setting for a European breakfast. Only negative is climbing a flight of stairs to reach the elevator. The elevator is very small. (Will hold two people or one person and a large suitcase). I would definitely stay at the Hermitage again when returning to Florence.

We were only there for one night but it is in a good location overlooking the river, with an easy walk to everything. Small room but a very good value. Friendly helpful staff and nice rooftop patio. Easy cab ride to the train station.
