This museum is not visited as often as the uffizi or the academia. There is no wait to get in, but you have to check opening times. We had to go twice to find it open. Once in there is a great collection of sculptures. The most notable is Donatello's David, which is a must see for every art lover.
There are other notworthy items in this museum like a good collection of pottery spanning a long period of time. There is also a nice collection of metal work.
All together a very worthwhile stop.
