“Visit for the David”

Worth the admission for the David. The rest is only worth it if you are of the Catholic faith (this is true for many of the sites).

“A must see, but don't get sticked into the museum. ”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 24, 2013 via mobile

We went to see the David. It is a must see here in Florence. Unfortunately, the museum audio tour sucked us into the rest of the museum. We ended up spending too much time there.

“Cool to see if you can brave the crowds.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 24, 2013

I enjoyed seeing it, but the museum is very disorganized and confusing even when you have advanced tickets. A rude, effeminate tour guide actually pushed my wife and people snickered that we had a baby. It was the lowpoint of our trip.

“Well worth it but jump the queue”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 23, 2013

It's a must, but do yourself a favor and pay the extra fiver to jump the queue. There will be ticket seller on the outside, so just be a bit careful they are legitimate.

If you are really pressed for time, once you get in, simply find your way to the David and spend your time marveling at this masterpiece.

“Awesome”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 23, 2013

We mussed doing this in the day that we had set aside for Florence because by the time we got to the ticket office, they had run out of tickets. But we booked some for the next morning when we were meant to driving to france, and ended up getting up early, packing the car and parking on the way out of Florence to get in as the first group of the morning. We were some of first in and we almost ran through the rest of the museum so we could have as much time with David as possible. It was totally worth it, we were just blown away and spent several minutes just sitting and appreciating it from different angles, really lives up to its reputation, the detail, the lifelike proportions, everything. If you go to Florence, you have to see this!
