The church is beautiful and actually used to be the St Mary of the Flowers Church; and later moved to the incredible Dome at the Centre of Florence. It has the statue of Dante outside, the understudy to Michelangelo and hosts the memorials of the great Galileo Galileo, Michelangelo himself and Machiavelli.
It is also situated next to a very nice jewellery manufacture and store and the library at the back. One can view the outside for free but might have to buy tickets to go inside. I did not get a chance to get inside but I believe its just as beautiful.
This church is definitely one of Florence and Italy's greatest pieces of history and is not to be missed.
