“The history of Florence in one place”
Reviewed July 10, 2013

The palace grew Florence grew, so in absorbed the history of the city. Museum contains some of important art of it's age, other antiquities and incredible interiors. Also I would recommend to everybody to ascent the tower, breathtaking experience. I took the incredible tour called "Secret Passages", the tour was awesome thanks to the guide Francesca.

“Good sight, not much to see.”

This is an on your way visit sight not a destination. The views are nice, and it is interesting but unless you are shopping for gold there is nothing to do here.

“Not worth it unless you've run out of things to go to”
Reviewed July 9, 2013

I have never written a negative report before , but we were so unhappy with this we felt moved to do so. There is a lot of things the tourist should know before going to PVC. Firstly , the website quotes the wrong price! The museum alone quoted as e6.50 , but when you get there your minimum entry price is e10 - which is "museum &exhibition" - there was no choice other than to pay for the Chinese exhibition also. Secondly , buying a ticket , what a joke! You queue for ages because only one of the 2 staff are working ,when the Italian in front of me saw this and complained , she was told they were waiting for more tickets , lord only knows why the 2 staff couldn't share the tickets they had! And to cap it all ,it is only when you get to the ticket office you find it is cash purchase only. If you're in Florence , there are much better places to spend your time in than this place. ,so unless you are determined to visit , I suggest go elsewhere.

“Worth seeing!”
Reviewed July 9, 2013

It was nice to cross the bridge and check out the jewellery shops and take photos, then carry on to the Piazzale Michelangelo for great city views!
