“Interesting afternoon”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 3, 2013

This was a really interesting way to spend an afternoon - you walk through apartment chambers and palace rooms, and there is plenty of information in each one to tell you what it was used for and why it is decorated in the way that it is.

Definitely worth a visit - especially if you have a Firenze card, as then you don't have to queue for tickets and it is free!

“The walk up the tower is worth the view”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 3, 2013

i do not understand why this site did not have a line to get in. We used the guided headset and really enjoyed the insights offerred. 227 steps up the tower was definately worth the view of the entire city.

“Pitti Palace is better”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 3, 2013

If you are starved for time, you can give this place a miss. Some sculptures and huge frescoed ceilings and huge paintings inside. A view of some rooms but the furniture inside is not original. The Pitti Palace will give you a greater feel for the wealth of the Medicci and really leave you awestruck.

“Great Museum. Must to see it!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2013

If you are in Rome, take a train from Termini, which gets to Firenze within 1 hr and half. Very quick. Train leaves Rome every hour. Once you are in Florence, it takes about 5-10 minutes by walk to Palazzo Vecchio, breath taking view on everything around the Piazza including Statues. The cost of entry to museum is $6.50 Euro per adult person and for youngsters is free. Every hall in Palazzo is a master piece with paintings.

“worth seeing”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2013

This is the old courthouse from which the Medicis ruled, now it's an art gallery. You can go see some of the remaining excess of their wealth. The great hall is pretty inspiring.
