We stayed in an Arno-view junior suite at Hotel Lungarno for four nights in July 2012. This is a charming property with an incredible staff. In the weeks leading up to our visit, I e-mailed the concierge and the staff happily made dinner reservations for us and arranged for a driver to take us to Rome at the end of our stay at Lungarno. Once we arrived, they had lovely fruit and sparkling water waiting for us. The suite was spacious and the view was beautiful. We didn't really have a terrace, but a small space to go outside to take pictures. The location is ideal for exploring all the sights on either side of the Arno. The whole feel of the property is quaint and of a different age. The desk staff gave us a letter to take to Museo Ferragamo for free admission (the hotel is owned by the Ferragamo family). I would heartily recommend this hotel.
