The Hotel Lungarno is a wonderful boutique hotel in a fabulous location on the Arno River near the Ponte Vecchio........owned by Ferregamo. Lovely rooms, very comfortable beds, beautiful linen, nice bathrooms. The staff is superb, friendly and so helpful, and the breakfast buffet is amazing! I would definitely stay there again............

The hotel is much more than charming! Great location minutes away from the Ponte Vecchio. Our room was very good, with a great balcony overlooking Arno River. The staff is very helpfull and well prepared. The restaurant is 5 stars, we definitelly recommend it! The breakfast was also really delicious! We certainly recommend it!

Room Tip: Ask for a room with Arno River view!

It is a fabulous hotel. Great location minutes away from the Ponte Vecchio. Our room overlooked the Arno river. Our room was lovely and fairly spacious but the bathroom was huge. (All the rooms are different. Our friends had a much bigger room with a couch but a smaller bath.) The bed was super comfy with linen sheets, a fluffy comforter and great pillows. The breakfast was incredible. The fresh fruit was amazing and a large array of foods. The bar service in the lounge and on the terrace is great with complimentart snacks, Service was a tad slow here. The reception staff was very helpful and accomodating. Only complaint was that they do not provide an iron and ironing board and the price of pressing service was extremely high priced. Had to wear rumpled clothes for a few days. Would stay there again without hesitation!

Room Tip: Upgrade to a room overlooking river. If you prefer big bathrooms, ask for that or bigger room. Eve...

This was by far the best customer service we have ever experienced! The staff was professional helpful, accommodating and charming...they made our stay the BEST ever! Andre, Lorenzo, Guiseppe and girls were top notch, also Andre and Maya the bartenders-servers were also fabulous and very helpful. The hotel was beautiful overlooking at the River and close to the Ponte Vecchio....
Our room was an upgrade with an amazing terrace. We visited Florence on April 28-May1st. What was also so unique about this trip is that Italy's Labor Day celebration is May 1st....so the night before they have a celebration called the White Nights.... They send off hundreds of white balloons ( looked like paper balloons with candles or lites ). From all the bridges! It was so incredibly amazing, we so recommend staying at this hotel ...especially at this time.. It was totally magical!
We will ONLY stay here when we return.... Completely amazing.

Of course, the Hotel Lungarno is everything you would expect. Excellent facilities, excellent restaurant, excellent service. The location is absolutely fabulous and the rooms are very well appointed. The staff were superb during my brief stay, and I have only one complaint. As a business traveller, I found that the free wifi was so slow that it was next to useless. I had to resort to my 3G on my iPhone to check critical emails and information for my meetings.
With such a hotel, that seems to get almost everything right, why let us business travellers down by something so simple as a decent wifi connection?

Hotel Lungarno staff , especially Lorenzo at the front desk and concierge , brought a wonderful smile and interest for needs, all travel and food. We loved the breakfast, cocktails and snacks overlooking the river Arno, and found the location perfect for access to the best parts of the city.
Decor is simple and elegant with a small scale luxury hotel feel and comfort. Older yet very charming and Ferragamo touches about.

Room Tip: We asked ahead for the river view rooms and the had small balconies for fresh air and breathtaking s...

We recently spent three nights at the Hotel Lungarno and absolutely loved it. The room was elegant and had a beautiful view of the Ponte Vecchio (worth the upgrade). The room was a good size and the marble bathroom was great with a beautiful big bath and Ferragamo products. The service at the hotel was great from check-in to check-out. The hotel has a beautiful bar in the lobby with large windows overlooking the river and the Ponte Vecchio, a great place for an afternoon drink after a days sightseeing. The location of the hotel is great, being on the other side of the river you are away from the huge crowds, but still close enough to walk everywhere. There are some great little restaurants nearby as well. It was about a 15min walk from the main train station.
Being owned by the Ferragamo group you also get free entry to the Salvatore Ferragamo museum which is worth a visit. A great hotel that I would easily recommend.

Room Tip: Worth upgrading to a river view room.
