Owner description: Love Duets’ Concert: you do not have to be a lover of Italian Opera to enjoy this wonderful evening. It’s set in a small church from 1800’s. You have a piano, soprano & tenor performing Opera’s love song and Italian love songs. The setting and performance is overwhelmingly powerful. You’ll be moved to tears by the emotions. Not to be missed.

Not being an opera fan I was unsure about this - however on stepping into the church and Ivor (pianist and host) getting the show started it was perfect. The show lasts 1hr 30 mins with a short interval. Giorgia, Michelle and Maurizzio were the singers and my God they were incredible! I have never heard anything like this! There's a bit of comedy too and I recognised almost all of the pieces! Go see it!!

We saw a flyer for an opera at St Marks while we were there and decided to go that very night. It was wonderful.....the singers were fantastic and the whole evening was enchanting. All the money taken in is for charity. Don't miss a performance if there is one on while you are in Florence.

I recently spent a magic evening at St Mark's - Tosca was playing! As usual, the performance was fabulous and the beautiful intimate setting of this pretty church made the occasion a memorable one. The singing was superb and I loved the dramatics. I highly recommend an evening at the opera here when in Florence and will certainly be returning for more!

Absolutely stunning performance of Carmen, brilliantly explained by the Austrian chap that introduced the acts. Prosecco for 2 Euro a glass served in the interval. My wife and I had never been to an opera and thoroughly enjoyed this - I cannot recommend it highly enough.
