Owner description: Love Duets’ Concert: you do not have to be a lover of Italian Opera to enjoy this wonderful evening. It’s set in a small church from 1800’s. You have a piano, soprano & tenor performing Opera’s love song and Italian love songs. The setting and performance is overwhelmingly powerful. You’ll be moved to tears by the emotions. Not to be missed.

“Great Evening”
Reviewed October 9, 2013

We saw Traviatta and it was excellent. The pianist was terrific and the singing excellent. The narrator between scenes was charming and held the scenes together with expert humor and skill. A lovely evening in the Oltrano district.

“Great performance!”
Reviewed October 8, 2013

We saw Carmen and enjoyed it thoroughly. The intimate atmosphere works for a production without much staging. The performers were talented and professional, making for a really enjoyable evening. Would attend another performance if in Florence again.

“Lovely evening”
Reviewed October 7, 2013

We found this little church around the corner from us. We went to Madame Butterfly and the singer had the most beautiful voice and she was obviously a professional singer. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening.

“Nice break from all the sightseeings”
Reviewed October 6, 2013

I went there to see Madame Butterfly. The setting is very intimdate. Probably less than 150 seats and it was full. I don't know much about opera so I can't really comment on the merit, but I thought the performers were very good. The only issue is that they opened a window in the back and from time to time you will hear some hot rodding bikers coming the street.

“Wonderful evening in Florence”
Reviewed October 6, 2013

Came upon this company on the internet and decided to attend a performance on a recent solo trip to Florence. The production on the night I went was Carmen and it was a highlight of my trip. There isn't much in the way of props and no sets but the backdrop of the church is beautiful on its own. The singing of the 5 member cast was superb and the pianist was magnificant. There was also a host/MC who was very entertaining and provided some background prior to each scene. There was an intermission with prosecco available for 2 euro and above all, the proceeds of all shows go towards a charity in India. The host provided an explanation of how the money is used and his passion and sincerity made it a pleasure to know that my ticket proceeds were being used for such a good cause. I saw a second opera concert the following night in Florence and it didn't come even slightly close to the St. Mark's show.
