Owner description: Love Duets’ Concert: you do not have to be a lover of Italian Opera to enjoy this wonderful evening. It’s set in a small church from 1800’s. You have a piano, soprano & tenor performing Opera’s love song and Italian love songs. The setting and performance is overwhelmingly powerful. You’ll be moved to tears by the emotions. Not to be missed.

You can not miss this opera practice. two nice performers of the arias of several operas. The presentation was for tho hours with one performer on the piano and the opera singer. the church was fresh but could have had a bit more movement on the air, but for €20.00 was more than fine.

Very entertaining and really worth the 20 euros. Cast was incredibly talented. The pianist was excellent.

The Love Duets was excellent. Great atmosphere and wonderful acoustics in the smaller church. Felt like they were singing right to you. Very affordable, pay a bit more for the VIP rows (1-2). Seating is assigned. Total time 90 minutes including a 5-10 minute intermission. Excellent singers and the Love Duets program works for anyone. Go and you will not be disappointed.

I love to visit St Marks Opera when I have friends visiting in Florence - and now that the operas have become so popular they have a little more income to invest in costume and props so the famous operas really come alive in this small Church space.
The singers are great and the atmosphere perfect - and as Frans (our host and narrator)) explains the plot before each section guests are easily able to follow the action even if they have never heard of the opera before and don't understand a word that is being sung!
I hope to go back again very soon!

It was the first opera I have ever been to and we were more than a bit dubious when we entered and it was a small church. However it was amazing! Would recommend to everyone if in Florence. Wonderful voices and environment
