Owner description: Love Duets’ Concert: you do not have to be a lover of Italian Opera to enjoy this wonderful evening. It’s set in a small church from 1800’s. You have a piano, soprano & tenor performing Opera’s love song and Italian love songs. The setting and performance is overwhelmingly powerful. You’ll be moved to tears by the emotions. Not to be missed.

“Opera”
Reviewed May 2, 2013

We saw a performance of "La Traviata" done with four soloists and piano. It was very enjoyable. Money from the tickets and champagne at intermission is used to help children in India. the opera was a good value on its own, but knowing what they were doing with the money made it even better. There were different performances almost every night.

“Opera for everyone”
Reviewed April 30, 2013

You don't have to be an opera aficionado to really enjoy an evening at St. Mark's. It's a very intimate setting (I would say we were no more than 15 feet from the performers) and the acoustics were great. Were these the two best opera singers ever? I wouldn't know, but I do know that we loved every minute of it. Sitting so close, you really feel the power of the human voice. Combine this with an early dinner at Trattoria Casalinga around the corner and you have a double winner!

“Excellent”
Reviewed April 26, 2013

This is no local singing group having a sing along. The performances were outstanding. We saw La Boheme on the first night and Madame Butterfly the second night. The ambiance was fantastic and all of the performers, including the pianist were of the calibre you would expect in an opera house charging much more. The church is small which makes each performance very intimate and the acoustics are fantastic. Excellent value for money and the fact that all proceeds go to charity makes it even better. Many thanks to Franz and the performers for a great evening. Highly recommended.

“Enjoyed Opera Duets”
Reviewed April 22, 2013

Looking for a possibility to spend a "classical evening" in Florence we discovered the "Opera Love Duets" at St. Mark's Church. The ticket reservation was very easy - only sending an email.
The location is very nice and good to reach (near trinity bridge).
We had a very nice evening, even for a critical opera fan it was a good performance with lovely voices to hear. Only the - very nice - church was a little bit too small for the voices, therefore sometimes it was too loud.
Mr Moser did an excellent job at the piano, and he is a very charming host.
We can highly recommend this attraction for people who love to hear well known operas or duets.
