Owner description: Love Duets’ Concert: you do not have to be a lover of Italian Opera to enjoy this wonderful evening. It’s set in a small church from 1800’s. You have a piano, soprano & tenor performing Opera’s love song and Italian love songs. The setting and performance is overwhelmingly powerful. You’ll be moved to tears by the emotions. Not to be missed.

I took someone who doesn't like opera to see Rigoletto tonight - and bought front row seats so he had to behave :-) It was amazing to feel the full force of such wonderful voices and be part of the drama. My friend was a bit overwhelmed in the first half because he couldn't understand the language, but in the second half he was hooked! Two teenage boys there with their mum were just as rapt. Wonderful experience with fantastic opera professionals. Don't miss it.

We attended the Friday night Love Duets concert. The singers and pianist were all excellent. The church itself is a beautiful intimate venue. We have very limited knowledge of opera but a good deal of of the material was recognisable to us. The concert ran for around two hours with a short interval and this was a wonderful way to spend the first night of our holiday. The 9pm start time meant we had time to have dinner first at an excellent nearby restaurant. We had second row seats and I think it is worht paying the little extra fir these seats as we had an excellent view of the performance. However the venue is so small that none of the seats would be bad.

Really great way to try out an opera. All the performers where excellent and the informal but intimate setting allows you to be immersed in the experience.

A magical evening with wonderful Opera and piano playing. Whether you like opera or not .. This is an evening you'll never forget. Franz (the host) guided us through the evening in a fantastic way. The evening not too long or too short. Definitely worth it!
