My husband and I stumbled across this place by accident and although it was Friday night and peak time - around 10pm Bobo provided us with a table! It was loud and fun!! We enjoyed the music, atmosphere, the wait staff were so much fun! The food was great, we shared the large antipasto plate as an appetizer which was huge and delicious and both had the meatballs along with some great red wine! But the party atmosphere was what made it such an awesome night!! Loud music, dancing on the chairs and fantastic hospitality made for one memorable evening (not to mention a sore head the next day after the countless shots of Lemonchello!!!) if we are ever in Florence again we will be back for another night of fun!!!

We've found the only restaurant we need in Florence, Antica Trattoria "da Tito". It was recommended by our hotelier and was only two blocks from our hotel. We enjoyed the restaurant and its attentive staff so much we went there for dinner every night of our stay.

The clientele is largely locals, with a mixture of visitors who've been fortunate enough to have been directed to the restaurant. I highly recommend making a reservation -- the restaurant is very popular among those who've discovered it. Any wait is well worth it if one arrives without a reservation.

We received very attentive service from the owner and staff and were always welcomed with open arms. The restaurant serves superb Tuscan/Florentine food, and we always enjoyed several courses during our dinners. The atmosphere of the restaurant was just what we were looking for in Florence.

The restaurant is an easy stroll from the Duomo and the heart of Florence. Simply walk north from the Duomo on Via de' Ginori. It soon becomes Via San Gallo. Continue north, ignoring other restaurants you pass along the way, and you'll eventually find the restaurant on your right.

We intend to visit Florence again, and we already know where we're making dinner reservations -- Trattoria da Tito. Having visited Italy many times, our dinners there remain our top dining experiences in Italy.

My wife and I went into "da tito" during the week to reserve a table for Saturday night. I tried in my best Italian to let the owner know the date and time until he grabbed my arm, laughed, and said 'Your Italian is pretty good, but if we speak English I'm sure it will go a lot quicker". That same playful, engaging feeling permeated the place- from the dancing and singing staff, to the crazy, kitschy decor, and especially to the magnificent food and drinks. You can do a lot worse in Florence, but you can't do much better if you are out for a good meal wrapped inside a really fun time. From the minute we sat down, we were treated like regulars and immersed in the party atmosphere. Bravo, Bobo!!

The food and service was good, the decor was rustic, maybe a little too shabby, but food was tasty and the atmosphere was really happy and fun. Reasonable prices.

This restaurant was one of our favorite stops in Florence. Make a reservation if you can or get there when they open. Order meat! Have fun! Hang around for the strolling musicians. Have a little too much wine! I did notice when we went, everyone for a while, including us, was American, thanks to the Rick Steves guidebook.
