On our first trip to Italy, my wife and I took a cooking class from Stefania of Toscana in Bocca. Held at her home, Stefania guided our hands on preparation, cooking and eating of an excellent Italian meal including: Scguaccuata (flat Tuscan bread), Risotto alle zucchine, La pasta all'uovo, Pomodori gratinati, Arista con castagne e prugne, Patate alla contadina, Chocolate and Red wine cake - all served with White and Red wine topped off with Grandma's homemade Lemoncello. The class was offered in her home near Porta Roman (an easy journey from the center of town), complete with personal recordings of her favorite Italian jazz and pop artists playing in the background. A true delight, Stefania made an already great Italian experience, all the better!
