Dining options: Late Night, Takeout, Wheelchair Accessible
Neighborhood: Pitti
Description: A stone's throw from the Ponte Vecchio, this gelateria opened up 1 month ago serves the perfect mint ice cream. The fior de panna (cream) and fresh mint leaves is nothing like your standard neon green industrial strength flavored mint ice creams. We went back (and again) to taste this hand crafted sublime delight.

Best gelato I have ever encountered. Extremely fresh ingredients and wonderful staff. Every flavor is delicious, and they even have alcoholic gelato! Wonderful little area to sit down and relax.

“The best ice cream in tuscany!”
Reviewed March 20, 2014

It's not a normal ice cream. It's really made with fresh fruits every morning by the wonderful CINZIA !
I suggest to try PISTACCHIO....lovely! After the ice cream take a coffee on Caffe' degli artigiani.

“Best Gelato! Best Value!”
Reviewed March 18, 2014 via mobile

We stumbled on this charming tiny gelato shop on the way back from Palazzo Pitti. The gelato was so yummy and only 1 euro per scoop! Highly recommend a stop here when in Florence!

Adorable place, excellent gelato, delicious flavors and only ?1 per scoop! It is neither a tourist trap nor a rip-off. It was recommended to me by a local!

“Best kept secret of Oltrarno”
Reviewed February 10, 2014

Want fresh light not overly sweet gelato made daily for only 1 Euro a scoop? Then don't miss this gelateria. It is a 10 minute walk from my apartment near Ponte Vespucci. As noted they are open late, until midnight. My favorite flavor so far is kiwi. It is if you blended (not to puree stage) kiwis, added a bit of sweetness, and froze. The little crystal sheets of kiwi melt on your tongue. The seeds clearly indicate that this is made from real fruit. I am slowly working my way through all their flavors. I often take a late night walk to pick up some gelato here. I figure walking 20 minutes to get a few scoops and going down and up the 59 steps to my apartment make up for any calories. I highly recommend this place. I tried some gelato a place near Piazza de Signoria and it was sickly sweet. If you want super syrupy gelato, then this is not the place for you.
