Description: A stone's throw from the Ponte Vecchio, this gelateria opened up 1 month ago serves the perfect mint ice cream. The fior de panna (cream) and fresh mint leaves is nothing like your standard neon green industrial strength flavored mint ice creams. We went back (and again) to taste this hand crafted sublime delight.

I studied abroad in Florence this fall, and obviously ate plenty of gelato. This one hands down was the best gelato of them all. It is a little further away from most things because it is across the Arno, but it is worth a visit. And near Santo Spirito too which is worth seeing as well. They have artisan gelato with the most interesting and delicious flavors.
Please note: they are closed for holiday for basically all of November.

Small Gelateria with amazing flavours! Highly recommend coming here as this was probably the best gelato we had in all of Italy!

This place was hands down the best gelato my wife and I had in Italy. Over our two week trip, we probably tried at least ten different gelaterias which were all good, but pretty much the same with the large display counter with large metal trays overfilled with gelato.

This place was different in that the gelato is stored in covered metal cans so you don't see the gelato until the server scoops it out. This was the only memorable gelato we had in Italy (as all the other places were comparable to what you can find in Los Angeles) and the best way I can describe the difference is like the difference between fresh squeezed orange juice vs store bought in a carton. Since we only tried fruit flavors, I can only say their gelato tastes so naturally close to the fruit that it's flavored after.

Also, it's located in a small picturesque piazza which looks like a scene in a movie and adds a nice touch of background to the delicious gelato.

We had so many gelato stops during our trip. I am not going to review any but the really best ones. This was fabulous, and well worth seeking out. It's a bit hard to find, but the TA mobile app steered us right to it. It's on a small piazza, tucked away from the usual touristy parts. Wonderful, rich flavors, not overly expensive, and they served up a good amount in the cup.

I went to firenze on a gelato-hopping mission, almost ruining my appetite for the famed bistecca alla fiorentina, & i must say that this little place had the BEST gelato in firenze & milan :) almost all of their flavors were unique, that's why i almost bought a scoop of each, although they still had the usual vanilla & hazelnuts...my favorites were the lavanda, carezza & orientale...plus the server was really friendly & helpful...this is a must-visit in firenze :) when i go back, i will just eat the gelato here & try ALL their flavors :)
