Description: RivaReno Gelato is synonymous with a constant quest in the world for all natural ingredients for their freshness, purity, intense flavours and overall highest grade qualities. Our gelato contains no hydrogenated fat, preservatives, anti-oxidants and artificial colourings. One of the most important ingredients of gelato is milk. The quality of our milk and the way we process it contains the secret of the intensity and the extraordinary taste of RivaReno Gelato. RivaReno Gelato is made only with alpine milk and cream from the Stura Valley in Piedmont. The Stura Valley is situated on the border between the Cozie and Maretime Alps in the province of Cuneo of the Piedmont region. Each RivaReno store has a lab where every flavour is made by adhering to high standard production processes. Our gelato is made daily in small batches several times a day to ensure ultra-freshness. RivaReno Gelato is not displayed in the typical ice-cream counter where customers can see the products. Our gelato is contained in the traditional Italian cylindrical containers deep inside the counter so as not to be exposed to the air for better conservation. We do not use colorants or preservatives nor do we need to use air to "puff up" our gelato. RivaReno sources the world for the best raw materials. The intenseness of our gelato comes from generous dosage of those materials of the highest qualities. We also use cones that contain less sugar so that our customers actually taste the genuine flavours of our gelato rather than being "distracted" by the sweetness of the cones. La cura costante nella ricettazione, il dosaggio equilibrato di zuccheri e grassi, uniti a una formulazione attenta impediscono la formazione nel gelato di cristalli di ghiaccio e gli donano un'inconfondibile consistenza vellutata e cremosa. La temperatura cui il gelato viene servito, piu alta rispetto alla norma, favorisce la percezione distintiva dei sapori dando la sensazione di gustare un gelato meno freddo del solito. My landlord from Florence recommend this place. Clean,modern interior. Thay have classic flavours and also less common,more creative which i loved. Me and my partner went there 5 or6 times and tried different flavours and thay all were delicouse. For comparison we went to other Gelaterias and this one is the best by far. It's one of two best ice cream i had,other were in Rome,sorry dont remember name.

“Amazing ! Bellisimo!”

We went looking for this gelato restaurant after reading the review here in trip advisor. We have been back twice now it is such great gelato . We fully agree with the other positive reviewers. It is a little hard to find and has a simple modern shop front. There is a limited menu but enough to satisfy all tastes . Worth the effort . Two small scoops for two euros is great value.

“Best Gelato in Italy!”

We just got back from a trip to Italy and ate gelato all over. Rivareno Gelato was easily the best - so good that we kept going back each day we were in Florence even though it was a bit of a walk from our hotel. The folks are really friendly and it's actually cheaper than a lot of other gelato places.

“The best. Period.”

I've eaten gelato in a hundred places in Tuscany. This one wins my coveted "best flipping gelato in the known universe" award. This is the only time I've ever eaten a gelato and immediately ordered another one.

“Delicious! A must when in Florence!”

The best gelato we have tried in Florence! The shop is quite modern and easily the cleanest and most hygienic (all covered ice cream) we have seen whilst we have been here.
The guy serving was really friendly, spoke good English and offered tasters before we picked our flavors.
To top it off the ice cream was delicious and creamy. We'll definitely be going back.
