We joined this tour having come across information about it in our hotel. Our guide, Elisa, was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable and the tour itself was great value for money. It enabled us to experience far more of the area than we had expected to on our short holiday and we would thoroughly recommend this tour to others.

My mother and I just returned from the full-day Tuscany Tour. We are usually "do it yourself" travelers, but decided to take this tour based on a friend's recommendation. Boy, was she right! Not only was our bus driver fabulous (glad I wasn't driving), but our guide, Stefano, was a true delight! He kept us informed and entertained all day with just the right mix of history and humor.

It IS a lot of walking, but the distance covered in the day is substantial. If we could have changed anything, e would have loved more time at the farm, in Siena, and in San Gimignano, and would have saved Pisa for another day trip... However, if you're squeezing things into a tight schedule - this trip is the one for you! Lunch was delightful and the setting CAN'T be beat!

We did the Tuscany tour from Florence. The tour took us to Sienna, San Gimignano, had aTuscan lunch paired with delicious wines, and ended in Pisa. Our guide Becky was fabulous! I would highly recommend this tour if you enjoy walking( somewhat slightly steep), delicious food and wine, and lovely sights.

We really enjoyed the Best of Tuscany day trip. It was well organized, punctual and the guide, Eliza, did an excellent job. She was informative, helpful and a lot of fun. The towns we visited were beautiful as is the scenery along the way and the lunch at the vineyard was delicious. The whole day was good value for the cost and highly recommend it to any age group.

We took "Best of Tuscany" tour with the group and it was a day very well spent. I fact, after such brilliant reviews, we had kept one extra day in Florence just for this and we weren't disappointed at all. I won’t take you through the tour as you could easily find that on their site. For us the best parts of the tour were:
1. The lunch at the local vineyard. As rightly highlighted by the group, this was best part of the tour. The food quality and taste, both were really good. And you could ask for any amount of anything, and they always served it with a big smile. The staff was courteous and helpful if we asked them about something. They also gave us some basic info about the wine and wine tasting. To top it all, it was on an elevated outdoor structure with very good views of the countryside. Finally, when me being a vegetarian and not a great lover of wines, enjoyed it so much, I am sure the kind of effect it would have had on the people who could appreciate it completely (Tip: They have enough options even if you are a vegetarian)
2. Our guide, Stefano was so much fun, courteous and jovial, but at the same time managed the timings and the whole group in an impeccable way. We were never late for any place and never for once thought that he was trying to impose himself on us. A great tour guide
3. The tour is well designed such that you don't start feeling too bored while travelling in the bus. It stops at the right intervals, just when you starting to wonder, "What next".

A few things which they could change:
1. Instead of having 4 long tables, it would be better if you have two long tables and also an option for tourists who want a table for their own. Everybody might not be ready to mingle with strangers and would prefer a bit of privacy during their lunch.
2. I personally would have preferred a slightly shorter halt at San Gimignano and more time around the Leaning Tower of Pisa. But then, just a personal opinion.
In any case, anybody who is visiting Florence, I would recommend this tour if you have the slightest interest in Tuscany country side, old towns or Italian wines.
