Gourmet meal for a reasonable price. Went with my girlfriend and we had 3 course meal, complimentary soup and a bottle of wine for about 80 euro. The spring salad was the best salad I've had in Italy. Good service, great food. Highly recommend.

A pleasant evening on the other side of the river in Florence. The ambiance was inviting, warm and friendly. The servers were attentive and took the time to explain the various components of each dish. The recipes may (or may not) have been traditional but the presentation was beautiful and the combination of flavours was intriguing and truly delicious. I had the marinated octopus on a bed of mashed potatoes, it was flavorful and satisfying. My friend has a salted-cod patè and slices of black polenta with melted cheese...a wonderful combination of flavours. The main dishes consisted of the filet, cooked perfectly and the side dishes where perfect and the roasted pork with a honey glaze...totally new and savory.
We were treated to a creamed eggplant starter that had us pondering the mix of spices and flavours...and the owner proudly offered a slice of home made cheese cake, which had my friend over the moon with delight.
Perfect for friends looking to relax, couples for a bit of romance and those looking for creative, flavourful combinations of food that are really worth eating.
They offer good vegetarian alternatives.

Wow. What a beautiful meal that is served in an understated "home" feel with careful and attentive service. The menu has a lot of vegetarian dishes with some fish and meat offerings. Creative, inspired food that is a delight. A beautiful short walk across the bridge from the tourist attractions. Do no miss the gelato place at the foot of the bridge either. Wonderful meal. !!!!

My wife and I stopped here after being turned away at a well-regarded but busier place nearby. The rejection turned out to be our good fortune. Cuculia's attention to detail was apparent in every dish from salad to meat. A simple potato and carrot soup was executed just as well as a complex tower of layered tomato, cheese, dried fruit and nuts. Her pasta and my roast pork left us impressed by both their taste and presentation.

The restaurant is comfortable and relaxed. One look at the unconventional table setting tells you that stuffiness is rejected but care for details remains. A menu that changes monthly might tax the chef's creativity, but diners can just sit back and enjoy the results.

My wife and I had dinner here while traveling. The staff was very nice, the food was super, and the wine we had was excellent. In particular, the food is prepared in a very engaging slightly deconstructed take on Italian dining, but in the positive sense of the phrase. The meal was paced nicely and was priced at a very affordable point, including wine. The location is just across the river from the central town area and easily walked to by anyone in the area. We would highly recommend this place!
