“Fantastic day with TWT”
Reviewed August 19, 2013

One of the best days of our two week trip to Italy. Our guide Åsa was very knowledgable and a brilliant storyteller as well. The scenery was amazing, and so was the food, wine and olive oil. We would truly reccomend this trip to everyone visiting Florence!

“Chianti and Chianti Classico with Asa”
Reviewed August 19, 2013

A wonderful day with our tour guide, Asa. A fountain of new information about wines in the Chianti and Chianti Classico regions, as well as a fantastic lunch at a local butcher. Best day ever!

“The Perfect Wine Tour”
Reviewed August 19, 2013

We can't say enough about how wonderful this wine tour was -- is fact, looking back, it was one of our favorite days in Italy! Pierre, our guide for the day, was organized, funny, very smart & so well-informed about wine & the wine making process. We spent time at two beautiful locations in the heart of Tuscany tasting delicious wines & olive oil and also had a very tasty lunch in this little Italian village made by the "crazy butcher" who is famous for his delicious food. We are not typically the type of couple that goes on tours but, we had a strong desire to explore the tuscan countryside & we must say, we made the right decision!! -- this tour was exquisite & far surpassed our expectations. We would recommend this tour to anyone of any age -- it's really the perfect day -- relaxing, beautiful & filled with great wine!

“A beautiful escape, lovely wines and a wonderful leader.”
Reviewed August 16, 2013

This was a day full of fun and tastes and a lot of information. Åsa is a delightful speaker, and knows just about all there is about the process of winemaking and the differences between the wines. As novices this is the sweetest way we can think of to learn, while also seeing beautiful Tuscan countryside. We visited two vineyards, sampling about five wines at each. In between we had a hearty lunch at a butcher shop, complete with endless carafes of table wine. I'll be much more careful reading labels from now on. The nice little brochure Åsa gave me will help.

“La Dolce Vita says it all!!”
Reviewed August 8, 2013

I highly recommend this wine tour. My friends and I just returned from a 10 day trip to Italy, and this was a highlight of my Italian adventure. We did some research beforehand, and picked this trip partly for the "crazy butcher " experience, but it was so much more.
Bernardo was great, very passionate about his trade, and so knowledgable. I loved the ride, the informative information, the visual beauty of the land, and the the incredible presentations with the wine, cheese, and olive oil. They really make you feel as if this tasting was designed for you only!! We had a great group of 7, and the only down side was that one of my friends couldn't go due to illness.
The butcher was great, and the meats served were incredibly delicious. The little village of Greve, has an incredible little butcher and meat shop of its own that has been around since the 1700's.

One of my personal highlights of the trip was the visit to Jackie's small organic vineyard. We sat at her outdoor gazebo overlooking the vineyard, sipping incredible wines, and chatting as if we were old friends. A truly relaxing experience with a lovely woman who shared her passion of Tuscany with us.

I have nothing to compare this trip with, but I can't imagine a better experience for a Tuscan wine tour.
