My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights in May 2012. The room was gorgeous; decorated beautifully. Location of the B&B is very convenient. We walked from the train station to the B&B in about 10 minutes. The staff, Silva (day time) and Roberta (evening), were very helpful and considerate. We loved it.

We stayed in the Bianca room and it was immaculate and spacious. We technically had a view of the Duomo, but in reality you had to extend your head out the window and look to your right to see some of it. Still wonderful, but you can't see the Duomo easily. The other rooms may have a more convenient view.

Bed was very comfortable, bathroom was spotless; cleaned daily. The room's decor was striking and the stark beauty of the room and the furnishings were impressive, but the style of the furnishings lacked practical storage, not a space issue, rather a choice of the pieces of furniture used. Minor inconvenience.

Be sure to bring a copy of the directions on how to get to the B&B with you (we did not) and we found the general area of the B&B, but not the specific doorway. The directions solve that riddle. The B&B has a common 'breakfast' room available 24 hours, that was lovely. It has a coffee maker, and complimentary coffee, cups, milk, sugar, tea, biscotti and fruit. They also have juice and milk you can purchase.

You will receive coupons for a breakfast at a local restaurant. We were concerned how this would work, but it was great. The restaurant is about a 5 minute walk from the B&B and is quite nice. With the coupon you each get a juice, coffee and a selection from the basic breakfast menu. One of the days we went out early and did not have time for breakfast and Silva, from the B&B, said we could use the coupons for a meal other than breakfast. We went there for lunch and we got a sandwich and coffee. Only restriction we had for each meal is that we had to sit inside the restaurant and not take up their outside tables; Not a problem.

Room Tip: Bianca room was spacious; but if you want to easily see the Duomo from your room, consider a different one.

This b&b is centrally located just steps away from the Duomo. The room was fashionably decorated, smelled wonderful, and the shower was larger than most Italian showers. The free wifi was much appreciated. An attendant was available from morning until early evening to answer any questions, make restaurant reservations, etc. We dealt mostly with Claudio and Silvia and they were very friendly and helpful. The best part were the free cantucci cookies and use of the coffee/espresso machine, which more than made up for having to walk to Robiglio’s’ for breakfast. Overall, we had a comfortable stay and would recommend this b&b.

Room Tip: The laundromat on Via del Sole is not open 24 hours as written in the information book in your room. My husband and I arrived at the laundromat a little after 10pm, started our laundry, and at 11:10pm the lights went out, the music turned off, but thankfully the dryers were still running. Phew!

We stayed here for 4 nights and it was wonderful! It only 10 minutes away (on foot) from the train station, clean room and bathroom, cordial staff, amazing location and very spacious room! We stayed in the Beatrice room and it is nestled in the corner so we got a cross breeze when we opened our windows, it was amazing. The room was modern, yet comfortable. The bathroom was a good size for Europe standards, we had no problem at all. You can hear the busy street when you open the room but once you close the windows at night, it was quiet and we slept very well. The breakfast is located around the corner at a cafe that was very cute and had delicious pastries, cappuccino and teas. The location is just amazing because outside our window we had a view of the Duomo, gorgeous!

Sylvia and Claudio were very nice and answered our questions and helped us with reservations and directions. We loved that Sylvia sat down with us to review a map of Florence. She showed us places to go and where to eat! Very helpful in a town where there is so much to see and so many places to eat. My husband and I were very happy with our stay and would come back in a heartbeat!!

Just returned from a tour of Europe ...stayed in 6 different places ranging from high end hotels all the way down to mom & pop places. I have to say that this was my favorite place of all! I looked forward to coming back to the room every evening and would have loved to linger longer each morning. The owner gave us a walk through and made us feel at right at home. It's important that you understand the B&B is actually a high rise vintage apartment with the bedrooms being rented for stay so it feels like a home...which is nice. Fully stocked private bathrooms with decent size showers and fluffy towels (all of which can be scarce in Italy), very comfortable bed, super clean, with nice Air Conditioning. There was 24 hr espresso, biscotti & fresh fruit available for guests to help themselves to and a small collection of travel books to flip through for info about the highlights in Florence. The breakfast was very good and the cafe was actually very highly rated in our travel guide...a short walk to get breakfast which was delicious. The view was amazing from our room...and there was a religious feast day 11pm candlelight procession that we could watch from our window. I look very forward to returning to this B&B!

My friends and I stayed with La Dimora degli Angeli for 2 nights and we loved it! The rooms are tastefully decorated and the B&B is just steps away from the Duomo. Roberta, the lovely assistant, introduced us to 2 amazing restaurants which she frequents. Both restaurants served great food but one of them served the best spaghetti I had in Italy. Florence was filled with tourists and had we not stayed in La Dimora degli Angeli, we probably would not have enjoyed Florence so much.
