The overwhelmingly positive comments from reviewers of this restaurant are well deserved. It's a welcoming, no-frills eaterie that won't break the bank.
The tortellini in brodo was superb, the veal excellent quality and perfectly grilled and the baccala in tomato sauce delicious. Also a very pleasant house red.
Again, as others have noted, this small restaurant attracts a mixed clientele of locals and tourists and the tourists, some of whom seemed to be bumbling their way through the menu, were treated, from what we could see, with courtesy and patience.
Again, to concur with some other comments, some diners may find some dishes a little salty. But this is a minor point among what would otherwise be little else but praise.
Wise to make a reservation.
