It is a great location in a city that you can walk almost any where. The only down side was the ambulance station across the square. It was very noisy when they left on a call. There are lots of restaurants in the immediate vicinity.

Have you ever been to Florence? Well . . . it's the size of your thumb, so don't worry too much about WHERE you are staying, unless that is the kind of thing that makes or brakes a trip for you. TRUE, it is not the best neighborhood in Florence, but it certainly isn't the worst and it is very conveniently located.

Now. . . if you care at all about design, you will love this place. It's beautiful and whimsical and tasteful and ITALIAN. The rooms are well appointed and, for the price, try finding a better hotel. It is part of a successful group--its sister hotel is a step away, beautiful, and very pricey.

Put it this way . . . we are going to Florence in December. We are staying there again.

Oh . . . great breakfast, too. Included. Done!

Close to the train station but not a great hotel. Room was small more suitable for a single traveller with small case, not suitable for a couple with large cases. Staff were courteous and helpful. Breakfast was basic as was the room accessories - no tea making, no shower cap, no tissues etc. 2 doors away great pizza cafe back towards station who h would recommend.

Very nice hotel, near the station and the duomo. Good value for money. Rooms are a bit small especially the shower. Overall a good place to stay considering that you will not spend a lot of time in the hotel if you are there to see the sites.

We found out the hard way and our sat nav took us around a good three times before we could locate it, better signage on the hotel would've helped too. The hotel itself is quite modern and clean. Our room was a decent size with a large bathroom and balcony but no safe. The breakfast was good with a good choice and the hotel had valet parking, at a cost of course. Overall, good stay with good night's sleep.
