Great very central location in Florence.
Rooms comfortable size with private bathroom.
Quiet and private
The owner was most helpful and accomodating with all of our needs.
Several small good restaurants just at doorstep.
Definitely would recommend.

True - location is absolutely top. And the rooms are simple, but clean. However, that is all that is positive. I booked a room for 2 nights including bath & breakfast. The room I was shown then was very very small, but OK (AC, TV and quiet - not a given in the centre of Florence). But the bathroom, unlike what I was specifically told the day before on the telefone when reserving was outside my room. To access the toilet and bathroom, I had to get out of my room and cross a corridor to get there. In the bathroom, the shower appliances were rusty, but the bathroom was otherwise OK.
Breakfast was very very simple, but OK (frequently is not much better in Italy).
As it is November, some days and nights are cold here. My travel alarm clock has a termometer and the room constantly had between 17 - and 19 degrees; neither in the room nor in the detached bathroom could you operate the heating, as it was centrally turned off.
When first seeing the room upon arrival and the problem with the bathroom I was very disappointed, not least because it shows a lack of professionalism to lie about it on the day before (when the guest will inevitably find out upon arrival). I agreed to stay nevertheless, but we agreed on a discount of 10 Euros. My host tried to make me agree to a cash payment in exchange, which I refused as I avoid traveling with a lot of cash in Italy. He swiped my credit card for guarantee. Upon departure, he said the credit card machine was out of order and that I had to pay cash. I refused as I had not much cash on me and I was unwilling to go through the ordeal of a cash withdrawal and the related fees. He said there would be no other way to pay and I refused again, telling him we had settled this on the first day and I would not change my mind now. I suggested he simply tried the credit card machine again as I was sure he was lying about its malfunction - and indeed: no problem, the card went trough fine without any problem. What hated most about the whole situation is the fact that he lied twice and also did not stick to his agreements. Will not go back.

These are simple clean rooms, some with bath in room or private bath across the hall. Staff is very helpful, full of ideas of where to eat and places to view the city. You are able to walk to all the attractions. The B and B is centrally located. There are stairs but that is common with all older buildings. Would recommend this to anyone.

My husband and I stayed there in May '08. It is very well located in the historical center - walking distance to about any place you want to visit in Firenze! The room was quite big and the bathroom too. It has private bathrooms for each room but they are outside in the hallway. We found no problem there! Breakfast was great, usually with treats such as freshly baked cakes! One of the best things about this B&B is Bruno, the owner, a fantastic person with lots of stories to tell!!!

As it is located on the historical center, if you arrive by car, you'll need to leave it in one of the many parking lots around the city. None of them are close, so the best thing to do is leave your car and get a taxi as they are allowed to run inside the historical area of the city.
We will surely stay here again when we return to Firenze!

We stayed at this bed and breakfast in July and were thankful for the air conditioning. Bruno, the owner, is a very friendly, welcoming host. It was truly a wonderful experience at a location that is at the very heart of old town Florence. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely Bed and Breakfast. Non-corporate pleasent place. Cute and clean. Located well to walk to train station, duomo, the Arno River and other points of interest. Handy to restaurants and shopping. In relation to what other hotels in Europe cost us we were pleased the the value and would stay here again.
