The welcome into Bruno's well presented, very tastefully decorated and comfortable home was most generous. For first time visitors to Florence Bruno's advice is pertinent and valuable, there is much to see in a too short timeframe from this very centrally located hotel. His breakfasts set up the day nicely. His knowledge, geniality and generosity made the trip memorable and a place to return to.

Not often would I say that about a hotel but this was just perfect. Location, cleanliness, care from the owner, beds, linen, breakfast all just fine. And Bruno the owner will look after you very well!

Room Tip: Some rooms have ensuite bath - ours didn't and presented no problem at all.

We were on our honeymoon and Bruno- the owner- was very friendly and helpful. I was sick so with the help of google translate he found me an english speaking doctor where I was able to get antibiotics. Our room was small- but clean- the bathroom was across the hallway but our own not shared. Different but I like the quirks you get at these places. There was a common fridge instead of a bar fridge in every room and the ability to have a cool beer/ water/ juice was a creature comfort my husband appreciated. When we left he helped with our luggage and called us a taxi - the place is charming - not fancy and located close to most sights for walking about!

We stayed at this B&B for 3 nights in Florence Italy and we would return. Bruno goes above and beyond for his guests. The location is FANTASTIC, in the heart of Florence. There is a small grocery store located right next door and PLENTY of great shopping and a great little pub across the street. The rooms are a good size and very clean.

This B&B is the perfect place to stay when you visit Florence. Bruno was a great host and made sure that our stay was perfect. Our room was large and comfortable, and the decor was very nice. Only three blocks from the Duomo and close to everthing else makes this a great location to base your trip to Florence. Ask him for directions and a reservation to the near by restaurant Coquinelious, it's one of the best restaurants in Italy.

Our trip to Florence was made complete by a fantastic three days at the Badia. Bruno was a great host and made us feel welcome from the moment we checked in! Before we even arrived, Bruno arranged reservations for us at both the Accademia and Uffizi. The location is ideal, central and within walking distance to all the Florence sites. Along with the location, the Badia gives you the feel of being at home and is a true treat after a long day of touring. Each morning Bruno prepares a large breakfast in his living room that gives you an ideal start to the day. For our next return trip to Florence, I will ensure that we stay with Bruno at the Badia!
