“An accidental find led to good meals”
Reviewed December 9, 2012

We were looking for a restaurant for dinner and found a little restaurant called Terra Terra that had a sign in the window claiming to be a Trip Advisor choice. Papardelle with wild boar sauce pici with ragu and mushrooms, both excellent. We made reservations for dinner!

Back to Terra Terra for a good dinner. Carpaccio of pulpo and carpaccio of spada, then a pulpo second course and a chicken in lemon and orange sauce, tiramisu.

“so good”
Reviewed October 7, 2012

We stumbled on Terra Terra on the way home from the train station. We think it is family run and the service from the mother and son was Great. The Italian Mom tried to 'fatten' up one of us by plying him with bread. The dishes were all fresh and tasted wonderful. The desserts must have been homemade and we didn't leave a crumb on tiramisu or panna cotta. Great find!

“Good food, good service”
Reviewed October 4, 2012

Very close to the Duomo but on a quieter side street. Friendly staff, good food, not excellent, but very good panna cotta!

“Stay away from the main duomo drag and enjoy great food”
Reviewed September 25, 2012

We enjoyed a lovely meal of florentine steak, beans and potatoes (for 2) 2 beers, one white wine, water, bread and a cafe for euro 80. It really hit the spot for us. Well cooked, tasty and the service was quietly attentive without being pushy. Nice atmosphere and out of the main cattle yards of the duomo. Very nice. We would definitely go back and recommend to others.

“Good meal reasonable price”
Reviewed September 24, 2012

Went to the restaurant twice in 3 days for dinners without reservation, and we got seated right away. The restaurant itself has a pretty good atmosphere and the staff spoke adequate english. The meals were good and reasonably priced. The menu is also very varied.

Overall a good restaurant in the area around duomo where tourist traps are rather common.
