We stayed here for one night. The location is good, but not the rooms, at least not ours: 107. When we arrived the room was not ready and when the host showed us the room we were surprised by the lack of bathroom. We were even more surprised when the bathroom was found to be in the closet!!! Taking a shower will in this room provide a nice and tropical humidity in the room, but as long as the wifi is running and the staff are shouting in the reception life is fine:-)

We stayed here for 5 nights as part of a month long trip around Europe. It was great! The rooms were huge and air conditioned. Right down the street and viewing distance from the Duomo. Some little sandwich/gelato places right next door. Its also right on the road that all the life and shopping is on. Right next to the street market. The place is very clean and well kept up. Nothing was broken at all. It was very comfortable.

The hosts were awesome! They got us breakfast every morning that was more than enough and very fresh. Every time we needed help they went above and beyond to make sure we found what we were looking for. I needed to get my hair cut and even the owner who spoke the least english made sure he found something for me and gave me directions. They are super nice and personable. They were happy every morning when they saw us. It was very quiet and safe. Multiple locked doors between you and the street. Of all the cities we stayed in we felt the safest at night here.

We will definitely return.

The location was fabulous, just steps from the Duomo and the San Lorenzo market. The air conditioning worked well and the room had everything we needed.
However, our room was beside the reception and the walls were paper thin so it seemed like they were right in the room with you constantly talking. No privacy at all. As well, the manager refused to reserve a ticket for us at the Accademia museum saying it was not possible. Instead we went to a bookstore that had no problem getting us a reservation to the Academia.

Truly the best accommodations we had on our two week vacation through Italy. The apartment was located half a block from the main hotel and a block from the Duomo. We were located on the 4th floor but there was a small elevator that held two of us at a time. The apartment was over 1600 sqft and had two full bedrooms, two bathrooms, a full kitchen, dining room, and upstairs lounge area with a patio that had views of the Duomo; it was an amazing place to stay. The entire apartment was brand new, we were the third group to stay in it, so there was still some areas that needed to be finished but overall it was beautiful. Only downsides were we had to walk over to the hotel to get Wifi, we paid 25 euros a night to store our car, and for breakfast we were given a coupon for a coffee and pastry which we never used since we loaded up for breakfast at the local market. Overall through it was a perfect place, we were thrilled with the apartment.

Of the seven cities we visited during our Europe trip, Tourist House Ricci was the best accommodation and be far not the most expensive. The staff was very friendly and made great food reccomendations. The rooms were clean, spacious, and even included complimentary slippers. The beds were comfortable and the continental breakfast was not just pastries and coffee, but had many more items. Not always the case in Europe, this accommodation had fabulous high-speed internet connections. Being one block from the Duomo, it was a great location central to many attractions in the heart of Florence and only a 10-15 minute walk from the train station. I would highly recommend Tourist House Ricci to anyone looking to travel to Florence!!

We loved this place for its location. Everything is soooo near. It is right next to the Duomo and you can walk to every attraction in just 10 mins. The room was very cozy and clean. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was typically Italian but filling. The best part is there is a coffee machine in the room so you can make coffee whenever you like. The owner couple are also extremely friendly and helpful. They allowed us to leave our luggage at the hotel for a longtime even after checkout. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Tourist House Vittorio Ricci.

We stayed at the Duomo apartment for 2 nights in May. I was not sure what the expect because I had not seen photos of this specific apartment. When we arrived, the owner/employee parked our car in a parking lot, which was about 25euros. The apartment was very spacious. A living room with a sofa bed and a bedroom with a queen size bed and a twin bed. The bathroom was large and there was a kitchen with a washing machine. But the best thing was the location!! You were literally a few steps from the Duomo. The view was amazing! You are right in the center of the city. I would definitely stay here again, and recommend it to anyone going to Florence. Doesn't get better than this!

Room Tip: Free wifi in the main B&B, a few minutes away
