Some of the friendliest service while in Italy and definitely some of the best food! The artichoke with ricotta pasta was out of this world and the wild boar sausage with pasta was excellent too. A great meal for our first night in Florence.

Rainy Sunday night so the place was pretty empty, us and a few other tourists....never a great sign.
Cute attractive room...we had onion soup....looked like a purée mush...green salad, ok..and a pork filet sliced. So boring , dry..with white beans, clearly from a can. Glass of red ok,, but needed more time than we had to breathe. People perfectly nice, but definitely want return. Not sure what all the excellent reviews here were based upon. Sorry

My wife and I had a very enjoyable experience at Bricco. The restaurant has a great atmosphere (the family runs it) and the service was excellent. My wife ordered the Farfalle with artichoke and ricotta and for the secondi beef stuffed with articoke with tomato sauce. The articokes were fresh and the secondi was amazing. We will be going back as soon as we can.

Not easy to find, but it's worth it. Hidden in a silent street without lots of tourists. Not that far from Piazza Michelangelo.

Menu is in italian, so we had to ask for help. The staff was really helpful, and gave us delicious meals. Very good antipasto and fine wine as well.

This family- run hostaria is a favorite of ours. We found it seventeen years ago on our first visit to Florence and it didn't disappoint us when we retuned this November. The family-owners were welcoming and accommodating and the food was delicious!
