We were in Florence for a total of nine days, and we went to several different restaurants. We thought that the Trattoria Antellesi was our most memorable dining endeavor. We had the local red wine, which was excellent. We also had a wonderful appetizer (which we shared), and it was brushetta with smoked salmon. Then we had pasta dishes, and I had the shell fish which was superb. We actually took pictures of the dishes as they were beautifully presented. We went back to that restaurant a second time. The restaurant was open all afternoon, which was nice because we were able to go at about 6:15 pm, and we did not have to wait until 7:00 pm or 7:30 pm as the majority of the other restaurants. The prices were reasonable, and the service was excellent.
