“The best pizza in the city”
Reviewed February 12, 2013

We stumbled upon Gusta and it was the best pizza we had while in Italy. We recently got engaged and they gave up a pizza in the shape of a heart. We will certainly return to Gusta next time we're in Florence!

“Great for a quick and tasty meal”
Reviewed February 10, 2013

For a fast, furious and delicious pizza this is the place! The service is not fantastic and you do have to wait for a table and/or sit with other people but that's half the fun. It's not the kind of place to go and relax over a meal but at €5 for a delicious margarita pizza you really can't go wrong. Other pizzas range from €7-9. The ingredients are super fresh and whilst the pizzas are not huge they are enough to fill up even the hungriest traveller!

“Great atmosphere, family run pizzeria”
Reviewed February 10, 2013

Its simple pizzeria run by3 friendly brothers. I love armosphere of this place, small but charming, you sit on barrel, you can watch pizzaiuolo's making pizza at open counter with wood fired brick oven. Theuy make traditional, simple pizza with not more than 3 toppings, everything home made. As far as i know thay do same pizzas all the time but also thay have pizza of the day, every day different which are more creative. Me and my partner went there twice,in general pizza is good but i had better in Italy. I like more modern, creative and full of toppings pizza. It's very cheap, nice place for lunch,5-8 euro for pizza in city centre.
P.S. YOU CAN SEE MENU ON PICTURE I ATTACHED.

“disgusting! worst place ever.”
Reviewed February 7, 2013

my friend(who's italian) and I got there around 8 pm, we were told in a rude way to wait 10 minutes for a table (which we expected to be a regular table for two in a normal restaurant). The 10 minutes finally turned out to be 45 minutes. We payed in advance (so just in case one wanted to change their mind at the last moment as it often happens, we couldn't) and waited at the entrance pushed by other customers and waiters.
We were finally placed at our long waited table...which was to share with 4 strangers, two of which wouldn't stop talking (to the point I finally was getting a migrane).
Of course we paid only 18 euros, and it's cheap, cheap for cheap service. The pizza was decent but compared to most places I know it really was nothing special.

“Excellent Pizza”
Reviewed January 28, 2013

This is a informal restaurant where you can be seated with strangers what is very good if you travel solo. The offer is only pizzas, they are very good, cheap (anyway pizza is usually cheap) 5-7 euros. The do not look very big but they are very filling and they contain a greater amount of ingredients and topping and of the highest quality. I am used to very good pizzas in London but they usually contain a little amount of expensive ingredients, Gusta Pizza was different, lots of pecorino, lots of cherry tomato, very generous.
