This Cibreo "branch" restaurant is different from most of what we've been accustomed to regard as a restaurant. A mix of a private club, a theater, and a communitarian diner this place proved to be an enjoyable dinner experience. First, you have to pay a fee to become a member, a flat price for a pre-established dinner. You pretty much have to elbow your way to the food. You are encouraged to interact with the other patrons, either on your way to the food or while eating on larger tables. Ad libidum local wine from a box will help with your Italian. We tasted some typical Tuscan dishes, such as schiacciata, trippa, lampredotto among others. After all the courses, chairs are lined up for all to watch a theatrical performance. All this makes for a long night, so to best enjoy this place, plan to go on a night you have not "wasted" yourself wandering around Florence.
If I had to weigh the aspects individually, I would probably give it a very good (some of the food was deliciously done, some bulk cooking, and the performance was a bit too local) but I gave the restaurant an Excellent rating because of the whole experience. It left me with a "want more" taste in my mouth.
