My husband and I are lactose intolerant and it sometimes made ordering in Italy a bit challenging. We had a lovely meal at Oro d'Aria. We loved watching the controlled frenzy in the open plan kitchen. The service was friendly, professional but completely non-intrusive. We were most impressed that the Chef took on the challenge of spontaneously creating a dessert specifically for us because we could not eat anything on the set dessert menu. It was so delicious but it was also so considerate. We have been to many fine restaurants in global cities where our dessert issues were met with a shrug or the offer of boring lemon sorbet. We would recommend the restaurant based on the food and the experience alone but the desire to please us prompts us to strongly recommend allocating your budget to a trip to Oro d'Aria.
