Beppe & David our hosts were incredibly welcoming for our Wine Making tour which turned out to be the most amazing day imaginable.
Tootling around the Florence countryside in convoy was so much fun, we literally couldn't stop smiling. And every time we stopped off somewhere, David would fill us in to the history of the area. It was really disappointing having to park up Etsio but the second part of the tour turned out to be equally as good. A wine making masterclass, from picking the grapes ourselves to crushing them with our feet to tasting the exceptional wines produced on the estate alongside a beautiful picnic in a truly magical setting in the Tuscan hills.
All in all a beautifully organised, exceptionally hosted day that should not be missed if your in Florence.......... its a wonderful escape from the thronging masses of the city.
Faultless.

We did the Classic Tour which was such good fun. It was great to get away from all the hustle and bustle of Florence for as few hours and out into the surrounding countryside. Beppe was fantastic - enthusiastic and very helpful, he obviously loves what he does. Our car was Paola the wee red one and I'd have taken it home if I could.

It's such a fun thing to do when you're in Florence and very different. This was one of the highlights of the holiday for us.

Would highly recommend giving this a go and using Beppe's company and not a rival one. Great friendly service and great cars.

My husband and I toured the Tuscany countryside with Beppe and Paola ( the racy red fiat). This was a definite highlight of our trip. Allowing for the cars to cool down, we stopped at a beautiful overlook of theTuscany countryside and terra cotta factory, then on to more curves and fun to a lovely olive grove. After this magnificent Chianti region ride, we went back the the Villa, and had the most enjoyable lunch , awesome wine and more fun. This is a must, it's the best 4 hours you will have in Florence. The bus stops right at the gate of the 500 Touring Club , so it is easy to get to from Florence. Beware- this may cost you more than you bargained for. When we arrived back in the United States, my husband bought a new Fiat 500 Abarth. :)

Dear TravelQueen,

thank you so much for this nice review !

We're happy to know that you had a good time during your tour and we're especially glad about the fact we inspired your husband to go ahead and buy a new fiat abarth for the family. We're also very curios to know what you named your own fiat 500!

We now know that you'll always carry a little bit of Italy and Tuscany with you at all times :)

All the best ,

Beppe

What an experience. Beppe took us for our tour in Paula our red 500. An entertaining drive around some beautiful scenery. These cars look like they are Andrea and Beppes children from the condition they are in the care taken over them. After the drive some fine wine and food - Beppe clearly knows his wine and food and talks passionately about these aspects almost as passionately as he does his 500's.
Nice people running a great experience - do this or you are missing out!

The 500 touring club was a joy to experience. It was also a great antidote to visiting the Florence museums, especially for my 21-year old son who wad granted the pleasure of driving (mainly as I hadn't brought my driving licence on holiday! ).

Andrea, our host and leader, did a fantastic job of showing us the open road, vineyards and an ancient olive grove, with much of the associated history.

We ended up at a hotel & vineyard for a wine tasting lunch, again, absolutely fabulous.

This is a highly recommended actuvity if you want to get out of the city and enjoy the country roads and air.
