We really enjoyed the quality and flavour of the food here. It was a relief to have some well cooked dishes that were inspiring us to want to make them when we get home.

Unfortunate that the last review form someone from Paris was negative, the prior reviews are correct, we loved this place. We ate inside, air conditioned with ancient walls/funky art interior, very friendly attentive and helpful server who spoke English. The Fiochetti di pera in salsa di taleggio e asparagi (pictured above) just amazing! Pasta stuffed with pear! (trust me on this one) in cream asparagas sauce, we convinced everyone around us to try it and they all swooned as we did. Things like classic Penne al sugo toscano and Insalata 4 Leoni, delicious. As in all Italian restaurants order the house wine which will be their own label, very reasonable and excellent: 4 Leoni Chianti Classico. Pictures of movie stars like Dustin Hoffman obscured in a collage of famous patrons. Can't wait to go back.

Like others, we fought our way across the Ponte Vecchio and our kids were getting hungry. Trip Advisor reviews seemed good enough and we were quite happy with this find. Yep, the pear ravioli is a must and one of the top dishes we have had so far in Italy. Service was great and location was a nice break from the masses. Do bring the translation book as they seem to take pride in not having the menu in english; a handful of Italian food phrases will get you through but you may miss the nuances in some dishes depending on the waiter. For an August summer night, can't beat it.

I liked dinner in here, away from the crowds but close to the action, only 5min from the bridge. The inside in fresh, clean, converted warehouse type feel. The staff young, energetic and smiley. Menu, small, simple with dishes everyone can appreciate. My pasta pomodoro decorated with fresh basil came with a little extra protein in form of a caterpillar, no problem with me, let the waitress know and a new one made. Well at least you know it's fresh basil! If you there late there a cute bar across the way for after dinner drinks. My pasta was 9e very fair and I love love the "the service is included, please no tips policy". I would love to see more of this in Italy. By the time you've paid cover charge, napkin charge, cutlery charge, glassware charge, compulsory bread charge and water charge you've spent 10e, then they prompt you for tips at the end. It's just a way for employers to pay their staff crap and transfer the onus onto the customer. So big applause to 4 leoni for having this policy and still be able to produce tasty food in a pleasant environment with friendly staff. Would go back.

We had great starters in this restaurant: a good Greek salad, and a good mozzarella/tomato salad. The primi platti were also good, with a surprising pasta with asparagus and pear. But the secondi were disappointing. We had grilled meat, but had to send it back because it got burned. Unfortunately, the second attempt was equally burned... The service did not seem to care. Despite the good start we left with a bad feeling. We had dessert in a nearby place.
