“Quality of a Michelin star restaurant for pennies!”
Reviewed May 31, 2014

We visited this restaurant on 31st of May 2014. It was by far one of the best meals we had during our trip in Italy! The restaurant is small so it is better to reserve especially after 8pm. The service was great I would compare it to a Michelin star restaurant. The food was cooked to perfection from the amuse bouche till dessert and the meal was a mix of different flavors and sensations. We had home made stuffed pasta with burrata and truffles and another one with ricotta and pistachio and they were both amazing. It was really a treat for a refined palate. We were also offered prosecco as an apertif as well as limoncello or grappa at the end of the meal and a cute piece of pottery as a souvenir (all on the house). Worth making a detour for !

“Beautiful restaurant, beautiful people”
Reviewed May 6, 2014

My daughter studied in Cortona for a semester and really liked this restaurant, so she had us go with her the first night we arrived. The experience was lovely. The atmosphere is elegant and warm, the food delicious and well presented, and they even gave me a cute little ceramic pitcher as a gift for my daughter having spent the semester in Cortona. Kind people.

“Delicious meal!”
Reviewed April 27, 2014

This restaurant was recommended by Hotel Villa Marsili. Reservations were not required and we were able to get a table right away. The food was good, as well as the service. My husband had the Veal fillet Rossini style and I thoroughly enjoyed the Pappardelle with hare ragout and pecorino cheese. Very enjoyable experience.

“Embarrassment to the region and Italian cuisine”
Reviewed April 25, 2014

Very disappointing experience, we've loved almost every single place we've dinned in during different trips to Italy. This was one of only two or three that we did not like. It basically reminded us of second rate american restaurants with no authentic flavor to the food, and even a Costco style Olive Oil which was an embarrassment to the region and Italy cuisine as a whole!
