Beautiful little boutique hotel located right in the heart of Taormina. My room has a small balcony overlooking the street. Rooms are decently sized and very clean. Breakfast is available on the rooftop level in the mornings and is yummy! The staff is very helpful.

This hotel was a perfect oasis of peace and serenity amid the crowds in Taormina on a holiday weekend. Located in the midst of the main pedestrian street, the hotel offered the opportunity to easily join the flow of shoppers and sightseers and then just as easily escape to the peace and quiet of a lovely little room away from the action. Our room had a balcony that overlooked a little side street with a restaurant right below us and a pretty church tower just at the end. We enjoyed sitting at the little patio table with a glass of wine. The staff at the reception desk couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful with restaurant suggestions and taxi arrangements. Loved this hotel.

Room tip: Room #3 has a very nice little balcony.

Taormina requires at least a 3 night stay and Hotel Taodomus makes any time there a good experience. The staff is friendly, engaging, helpful, and doesn't hold back with efforts to be of service from carrying luggage to making special breakfasts. The morning staff on the terrace are cheerful and fun, the food delicious, varied, and plentiful, and the setting is beautiful. The views from the terrace of the water, the town, and Mt. Etna are stunning and we were fortunate to have good weather. Early spring, here, is chilly in the shade and after the sun goes down and hot in the sun so layers are important. Our 1st floor room overlooked the street and the street noise just brought in the good energy of the town. The rooms were very quiet and dark with windows shut. The town is charming and the restaurants plentiful and good. We wished we'd planned a longer stay and would definitely stay here again. Parking was not a problem and there was a laundromat in easy walking distance.

If you want to be right in the centre of Taormina, this hotel is the perfect choice. You will not be disappointed. It's a nice size with just 10 rooms, all furnished very well and attractively both inside the rooms and everywhere else in the building. Everything was completely comfortable and well-appointed. I think all the other reviewers will write about the wonderful breakfasts and the excellent location, and they're correct. But being right on the Corso Umberto doesn't mean the hotel is buzzing -- it's an oasis of calm. In the late evenings we heard a gentle bit of hubbub, laughter and chatter rising from the happy crowds below until about 11pm, but we didn't find it intrusive or off-putting, it was very nice and perfectly civilised as this is Taormina after all!

I recently stayed at this hotel and enjoyed my stay. The room is comfy, clean and a perfect size for 1 or 2 adults. The location is perfect, I could walk to the Greek Amphitheatre, the Garden and of course the Piazza. The food is tasty and the shopping was great, I found some amazing deals. The views of Etna from this city are breathtaking. You will enjoy this hotel and Taormina.
